I'm just your average Millennial, obsessed with staying home, binge-watching Parks & Rec and drinking all the Diet Coke in the house. I am a lover of Israel Diaz, female led businesses and long flowy dresses.
Welcome to my home on the internet where we talk life, theology, womanhood, marriage and work.
I met Richa and Drew at her sister’s wedding that I photographed last July. Richa is beautiful, helpful, and kind. She and Drew instantly felt like a safe space and seem to extend hospitality wherever they go just by being themselves. They make people feel welcomed, no matter where they are, and their calm and genuine energy draws people in. There’s something about their dynamic that makes me feel like I’ve known them my whole life — and don’t even get me started on their little guy, L. Suffice it to say this smart, talkative, sweet-natured boy takes up after his parents and is an absolute joy to be around.
I’ll never forget after Izzy and I had experienced our miscarriage, Richa reached out to offer solace. She was so understanding and supportive and made me feel just a little less alone in all of it. We had only had a small number of interactions, but that response was so true to the picture I had of her after meeting her: caring, thoughtful, genuine. The Cooks are such wonderful people and I am beyond thrilled for them to be welcoming a new little one to their crew so soon! We got together in mid November to document the last season of them being a family of three. Here is a little sneak peek of our session:
I can’t wait to meet Baby Cook! I’m forever rooting for this sweet crew!
Until next time, friends!
Let's be friends!
