It’s our anniversary today and I have never been more proud of us, of you, of me. Two years in the school of hard knocks and yet, here we stand: united, together. There are so many things I want to say to the world about you, about what God has done in our relationship, about the ten lifetimes we’ve lived in the last twenty-four months, but the words never measure up. Will I ever be able to tell you? Will I ever be able to make you understand?

I adore you, my Israel. Thanks for choosing me, thanks for sticking by me, and thanks for being open and willing to create something new with me. We’ve got a lifetime to learn how to do this thing, but look at us, babe, we’re doing the damn thing.
