There are few things I love more than a newly engaged couple on the shore.

As a photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing countless wonderful love stories. Each one is unique and carries its own magic. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Shelbi and Trystan’s engagement session, and their story is a sweet reminder that the most profound things in life are often found in the most ordinary places.

Let’s set the scene: Trystan’s at work, serving customer’s with care and that kind personality that puts everyone at ease. Shelbi is seated in his section, and she’s drop dead gorgeous (duh), and way too intimidating for Trystan to ask her out directly. So, instead, Trystan throws her a little curveball. “You should apply here!” He says, and to his surprise, she did! Trystan’s clever plan eventually led to a deeply rich relationship and when he popped the question, Shelbi was so excited to say yes!

These two were so much fun to work with and sooooo in love. I absolutely adored getting to spend some time with them. Just being with the two of them made my heart all giddy and reminded me of my own engagement season. It is such a special time in a couple’s life, and I am hoping that this little sneak peek will give you just a glimpse of the love that Trystan and Shelbi share:
