I'm just your average Millennial, obsessed with staying home, binge-watching Parks & Rec and drinking all the Diet Coke in the house. I am a lover of Israel Diaz, female led businesses and long flowy dresses.
Welcome to my home on the internet where we talk life, theology, womanhood, marriage and work.
Friends, I really can’t wait to show you the sneak peek we’ve got today. I met Bri through my husband, Israel. Bri works alongside Izzy and has always been such a sweet friend to both of us and the happiest hello when I go to visit him at work. When we found out Bri was having a baby, Izzy and I were over the moon for her and her husband, Andre. They’re the kind of people you just want to root for – their blessings are something we love to celebrate. So, when Bri asked if we could do a maternity session, I jumped at the chance!
Bri and Andre met when they were both working at Nordstrom, and get this: Andre was working in women’s shoes when they first met! (Sound familiar? Us, too!) They are a sweet, caring couple whose friendship is palpable and who are just as beautiful of a couple on the outside as they are on the inside. We went out to Mission Trails to document this exciting season of anticipation as they await the arrival of their sweet baby girl. When the happy couple showed up, I kid you not, my jaw D R O P P E D. Bri looked gorgeous. Like a literal glowing, beautiful ANGEL.
Here’s a sneak peek at Bri and Andre’s maternity session. I hope you are as jazzed about it as me because damn, she looks good:
Can you even believe this wasn’t during golden hour? As much as I fight for golden hour sessions, sometimes they just won’t fit with our schedules. Thankfully, golden hour isn’t the only time you can get beautiful images if you know what kind of light you’re looking for. Doesn’t she just look radiant? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! I’d love to hear from ya 🙂
Let's be friends!
