Okay, so here’s the thing: you know that girl in high school who is so cool, so kind, so hilarious, and so dang BEAUTIFUL that you are like totally obsessed with her? For me, that girl was Candice.

I’ve known Candice since we were in high school. She was my best friend’s big sister’s best friend and to this day is like my biggest girl crush. She’s smart, she’s funny, and she’s one of those people that’s all lit up inside and makes you want to be, too. I can’t say enough good things about her and I love her dearly so when she asked to set up a family session I was completely thrilled (and not just because I couldn’t wait to meet the rest of her beautiful family). We hadn’t seen each other in years and I was so excited to get to finally meet her husband and their two adorable kiddos.

When we were finally reunited, we squeezed each other so tight. It was so sweet to see my gorgeous friend with her beautiful family and to finally get to meet her husband! This session was so special for me. I’ve been rooting for Candice since the day that I met her, and to see her now, years later, with two absolutely adorable children, one on the way, and a husband who just loves her was like coming to the end of your favorite Rom-Com. It gave me all the warm fuzzies and made me so happy.

Candice and Matt, you two are so wonderful together. Photographing the legacy of your love story was such a sweet moment for me, and I can’t wait till we see each other again (margaritas, anyone?). Love y’all to the moon!
